Finished this up - I ended up liking the sketch more because of course, but I do like how the painterly textures and the explosion turned out.

Another #DBRedraw attempt

 

There was a #DBRedraw featuring Android 18 and I had promised myself I'd start trying to draw more variety of characters! I kinda dig how she turned out honestly. Should finish this.

 

Cute sketch of Vegeta and Bulma for the 9th of June, which is apparently Vegebul day!

 

Couple of commissions, both these characters are inspired by roller coasters.

 

A #DBRedraw I saw going around on Twitter and wanted to give it a go. I like how this one turned out. Tried to keep it simple for a change and I never draw Gohan.

 

I really wanted to do something for #Mermay, so of course it had to be Vegeta.

 

Been in such an art flunk I decided to have a go at a DB Redraw where you take an existing official artwork that is perhaps not the best looking and try to improve it.

 

Love this new character from Dragon Ball. His name is Granolah.

 

Finally got Clip Studio... Here's my first mess around with it. Doubt I'll develop this but ya never know.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this sketch of Gogeta, but whatever.

 

I'd been thinking of drawing Majin Vegeta as Alexander Cabanel's The Fallen Angel for a while. I finally got round to it. Very happy with how it turned out. It was nice to do more "rustic" and loose, painterly fanart, too. I typically confine fanart and anthro art to linework and honestly, I'm not sure why. 

 

I started this back at the start of Jan with the intention it would be a "hope for 2021" start to the year thing, but before I knew it it was February soooo... I figured I should at least finish it within the first week.

The History of Trunks TV special was one of the few Dragon Ball movies I managed to get hold of when I was younger and I watched the shit out of it. So it's super nostalgic to me, complete with the weird licensed music choices in the dub. It also absolutely informed a lot of my fandom tastes in Dragon Ball, being the most melancholy and "takes itself too seriously" narratives in the series.

 

 Wanted to do a redraw of this fun pose from the Super manga, got carried away! I like hos this one turned out. The leg I'm pretty proud of.

Decided I wanted to redraw an old sketch from 2015! But it turned into more of a concept redraw.
