Here's that fluffy raptor I posted yesterday, now with colour! Nothing fancy in terms of detail or finish or in terms of colour pallet, just wanted to practise feathers really and get something finished fairly quickly. It doesn't look as rich as it did on my Cintiq screen, so I guess that's something to watch out for in future. 

Fluffy little velociraptor. Sketching on the Cintiq feels infinitely more natural and as a result easier and faster. No idea why I held off getting one for so long... I guess I was just stuck in the mindset of "an artist never blames their tools".

Legs are difficult, so thought I'd practise from some references gathered here.

Finally got a Cintiq!

Da Vinci's flying machines themed wing coaster concept... I actually had this idea for a flying coaster years ago, but whilst flying coasters sort of faded into obscurity, it feels like everyone wants a wing coaster. So, yeah. Originally I had imagined a more steampunk design, but I think something like this would fit better in the kind of parks who would entertain such high levels of scenic design. Colours for that Beerus sketch! I really enjoy working with purple... Dunno why, it just mixes well with so many other colours and is relatively easy to darken or lighten. By comparison, I hate working with green.
