Yet another game character in that series I started with GLaDOS a few posts back. I didn't think it would work too well with Sonic, but it came out better than I thought!

I think gouache is my favourite paint now.

The Big Daddy Bouncer I promised. Did this for Kyle about a week ago but only just got a chance to scan it.

I have a couple of prints available of the GLaDOS picture, since a few of people asked. :)

It's been a looooong time, how have you been?

Yeah, it's been a while since I did any fan art. I've wanted to draw GLaDOS since I got Portal 2 around Easter but I've been crazy busy with Uni work. This is mixed media on brown paper, mostly gouache. I actually did a couple of pen drawings of her last night, but she's so complicated that pen drawings really bring out inaccuracies, ink and paint hid most of that... lol, and there's something nice about the suggestive looming darkness. Here's one of those pen doodles anyhow.

Think I'll try something from Bioshock in this style, only with lots of oranges. Hell yeah.

So, that's it. Final Major Project is finished and it shall be handed in tomorrow. It's over!

I'm trying to find a way to display the project digitally, and then I'll post it here in it's finished state, because right now it's in bits all over the place on here, which isn't cool. Any suggestions?

I promised photos of maquettes.







Making maquettes is really useful. It helped me get my head around visulising in 3D, get a sense of space and figure out if my ideas made sense in a real 3D world. They are also great to use as drawing references.
