I think maybe I still need a visual reference to damaging the gene pool in here, since it is the crux of the issue. But the imagry of washing the orange out of the tiger seems pretty strong.

I wanted to try using gel medium, or liquid latex, or something... to make details on a sculpture, so I had a go at making an Allosaurus head. I'm not sure it looks enough like Allosaurus and it didn't quite turn out how I wanted, but It was an interesting experiment. Even the teeth are made of gel medium instead of Sculpey, allowing for tiny detailing... Need to explore this further I think. Colours could use some work too, I really want to try airbrushing for sculpts.

It occurred to me that I still hadn't uploaded finished images of the Sculpey Feraligatr I made for Rachel, so here he is. Not the best pictures since my good camera is dead.

These are made by painting with bleach. They turned out really well I think.

It was suggested that I try some tonal studies and felt like using markers. I don't think the contrasts are high enough, but I'm scared of ruining this now... Try another one I guess. I get caught up in details and don't pay attention to lighting and it causes my work to be flat.

A rough acrylic painting to show an idea... Woman needs to be facing away or else my horrendous people drawing abilities will be even more obvious. I don't think it should be so specific looking, either... Need to get someone to pose for photos I think.

More quick landscape studies in acrylic. Having trouble with blue. I think I need an alternative blue acrylic... Ultramarine, no matter how I mix it, isn't cooperating. lol
